Drawing inspiration from two sources, a modern Scandinavian rug with a rich solid color field as well as a meandering diamond motif from a vintage Turkish piece, Lara features a border and repeating bands that run across this Persian wool hand-knotted rug. An abrash dying technique imparts a gorgeous strie. Designed in collaboration with Thomas O’Brien, Lara was conceived as a companion to our Yuri rug.
