Graphic and bold, Jupien has a ‘70s modern appeal that’s just as at home with Georgian antiques as it is with Mondrian and Lucite. A grid of ivory squares march across an emerald-green background, with elongated black chevrons creating a three-dimensional illusion. A combination of fibers adds to the effect: the motifs are in wool while the background is silk, offering a textural contrast and an unparalleled hand.
